Community Outreach

ECDA works to educate the community about the risk factors associated with diabetes through outreach initiatives focused on diabetes awareness and prevention and to include:

Community nurse presentations
Participation in health fairs
Annual kidney screenings
Diabetes risk and blood pressure screenings
Dissemination of current literature
Childhood obesity programs
